The Cape Coast Regional Office of the Department of Parks and Garden was established in a year 1958 in a village in cape coast called NCAFOA but due to improper management it was relocated to Cape Coast town in 1968 near ECG and AGRIC main office.
In the office of the dapartment, we have two nurseries which contains varieties of flowers, different types of flower pots and weeds.
We have developed about 8 branches within the region which serves the populace their needs and standards.
Our offices are responsible for establishing Land scapes design, Round About, Road directions, Lawns, Football pitches, flower pot for beautifying Houses weeds for funerals, Grasses and so on.
